East Lake, which is
rated as one of the top national resorts, is the
pride and joy of wuhan people. Many of the residents
over the years enjoyed walking along the lakeside
in spring, swimming in summer, smelling the sweet
laurels in autumm, and admiring the plum trees in
winter. The lank covers 33 square kilometers and
stretches far into the distance. Ancient pavilions
and pagodas scattering in 34 hills around the lake,
making this scenic spot more historic and impressive.

Tower |
Gone with the yellow crane, the man
from the past, left lonely the tower named yellow
crane. Away the yellow crane, away forever, having
endured thousands of years, the clouds remain.
By the riverside sunbathed old tree, in the river
center agreen grass cool. The sun is setting but
where goes my thought? The misty water brings
sorrow to my heart.

Ancient Lute Pavilion
issituates west of Tortoise Hill and the shore of
Moon lake. It was said that a person named Yuboya
was fascinated cutter Zhong Ziqi understood well
Mr. Yu's interset. As time passed by, he got to
konw that Yuboya was a man With high aspirations
through his playing, so they became good friends.
Afterwards, ziqi died of an illness and Yuboya was
so sad that he broke the dulcimer and proclaimed
not to play it ever since. The phrase "Bosom
Friend" was formed this way. In order to commermorate
the two friends, the later generations set up the
pavilion.
